Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Guidance:
Assess students’ academic performance, interests, and career goals to provide personalized recommendations.
Advise on suitable courses, institutions, and study programs in India and abroad.

2. Career Counseling:
Help students explore career options aligned with their skills and aspirations.
Provide insights into emerging job markets and growth opportunities.

3. Scholarship and Financial Aid Assistance:
Identify scholarship opportunities for Kashmiri students and assist with the application process.
Provide information about financial aid, student loans, and fee waivers.

4. Mentorship and Emotional Support:
Address student concerns, such as academic stress, career uncertainty, and personal challenges.
Motivate and inspire students to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

5. Community Engagement:
Organize workshops, seminars, and career fairs for students and parents.
Build networks with educational institutions, NGOs, and organizations focused on Kashmiri youth.


Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Career Counseling, or a related field.
Certification in career counseling (preferred).
Strong understanding of the educational and cultural context of Kashmir.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and discretion.
Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Kashmiri, Urdu) is an advantage.

Experience:
Prior experience in career counseling, academic advising, or student mentoring is preferred.
Knowledge of scholarship programs and study abroad processes is a plus.
