**Position: Junior Counselor**
**Overview:**We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Junior Counselor. This role offers the opportunity to assist students in navigating the complexities of overseas education, guiding them towards their academic and career aspirations.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Student Consultation**: Provide personalized consultation to prospective students regarding study options, course selection, and suitable institutions based on their academic background and career goals.
2. **Application Support**: Assist students in preparing and submitting applications to universities and colleges abroad, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
3. **Admissions Assistance**: Liaise with educational institutions to facilitate the admission process for students, including following up on application statuses and responding to admission-related queries.
4. **Visa Guidance**: Offer guidance and support to students in understanding visa requirements, documentation, and procedures for studying abroad, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
5. **Financial Aid**: Provide information on available scholarships, grants, and financial aid options to help students manage the cost of education abroad.
6. **Pre-Departure Orientation**: Organize and conduct pre-departure orientation sessions for students, covering essential aspects such as cultural adaptation, accommodation arrangements, and academic expectations.
7. **Relationship Management**: Cultivate strong relationships with educational institutions, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of their programs, admission criteria, and any changes in policies or procedures.
8. **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, admissions, and other relevant information using the designated CRM system.
9. **Marketing Support**: Assist in marketing initiatives, including participating in recruitment events, conducting presentations, and contributing to promotional materials to attract prospective students.
10. **Continuous Learning**: Stay informed about developments and trends in international education, attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, International Relations, etc.)
- Previous experience in education counseling or student services preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of foreign languages may be advantageous.
