Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Hitec City, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Entry-Level, Contractual

Job Brief: We are looking for a Junior Accountant to work within our Finance and Accounts (F&A) Team on contract basis. A detailed job-description and key responsibilities areas for the required role can be found below.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs):

Manage the daily operations of the accounting areas including:

Month and end-year process
Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable
Cash receipts
General ledger, utilities
Capital assets reconciliations
Generating Purchase Orders and Invoices for the teams as per requirement
GST and Taxation
Analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Meet financial accounting objectives as per KPIs
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Co-ordinate and report to the superiors/Reporting Manager
Co-ordinating with banks in meeting export/import compliances

Experience and Skillset Required:

Minimum 0 to 2 years of working experience as an Accounts Professional or Accounting Supervisor
Advanced computer skills on MS Office Excel, experience with accounting software - Tally ERP, QuickBooks, SAP etc. and databases is preferred.
Flexibility in working and time management
Knowledge of book-keeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Experience in Imports & Exports procedures and documentation
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills

Minimum Qualification Required:

B.Com.
BBA
