Overview: Bhatia Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled and experienced International CV/Resume Writer with a deep understanding of the Canadian job market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting tailored resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles that align with Canadian hiring practices and employer expectations. As a CV/Resume Writer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients secure interviews and job offers in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Resume/CV Writing: Create compelling and customized resumes/CVs for clients across various industries, ensuring alignment with Canadian recruitment standards and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) requirements.
Cover Letter Writing: Develop personalized and persuasive cover letters that effectively highlight the client’s strengths and align with job descriptions.
LinkedIn Profile Optimization: Optimize LinkedIn profiles to enhance visibility, improve keyword relevance, and present a professional image that appeals to Canadian employers.
Client Consultation: Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to understand their career goals, achievements, and unique selling points. Translate this information into effective resume content.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with Canadian labor market trends, industry-specific requirements, and hiring practices to ensure clients receive the most relevant and effective documents.
Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all documents are free of errors, well-organized, and adhere to Canadian English language standards.
Client Support: Provide clients with advice on job search strategies, interview preparation, and overall career development in the Canadian context.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional resume writing, with a focus on the Canadian job market. Experience working with international clients is a plus.
Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of Canadian English.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian recruitment processes, industry-specific resume requirements, and ATS optimization.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and resume-writing software. Experience with LinkedIn and other social media platforms is essential.
