As an Insurance Advisor, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell life insurance policies offered by Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance. You will be tasked with understanding the financial needs of individuals and recommending suitable insurance products to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels such as referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis to understand clients' requirements.
- Present and explain insurance policy options based on the analysis and recommend appropriate coverage.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure continuous business and referrals.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients’ queries and concerns regarding their insurance policies.
- Follow up with clients to review their insurance needs as their financial situations change.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain records of all interactions with clients for future reference.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the insurance industry and Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance products.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Achievement of Targets:
- Meet or exceed sales targets as set by the company.
- Continuously strive to improve sales performance through self-motivation and initiative.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Proven work experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of financial products and services.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
