Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage store opening and closing procedures.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and supervisors.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage employee attendance.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
- Train staff on effective customer service techniques.
Sales & Profitability:
- Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve business goals.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for stock orders.
Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain attractive and effective store displays and merchandising.
- Ensure the store layout and product placement align with brand guidelines.
- Implement seasonal and promotional displays to drive sales.
Financial Management:
- Manage the store budget, including expenses, payroll, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profits.
- Handle cash management, banking, and reconciliation.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement action plans based on data analysis to improve store performance.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Train staff on health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office.
