Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Formulate strategic and practical plans, and provide advice to clients and employees to address daily issues and HR matters
2. Conduct research (data collection, surveys, etc.) to identify the root cause.
3. Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and processes or make modifications to address issues
4. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
5. Devise plans and techniques to drive change and culture management
6. Select and implement suitable HR technology
7. Administer compensation and benefit plans
8. Refurbish knowledge of advancements in the field and present new ideas
9. Conduct recruiting, onboarding, training, off-boarding, and management of personnel
10. Approach, communicate, and recruit talent through social networking, job search, and portfolio websites
11. Maintain recruitment database, keep track of internal and external job applicants, and respond to speculative recruitment inquiries
12. Initiate and lead human resource programs and projects
13. Coordinate Employee Relations and Engagement activities, including rewards and recognition
14. Organize training & development initiatives
15. Handle all leave of absence requests from start to finish
16. Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
17. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
18. Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work and identify the best people for the job
19. Undertake tasks around performance management
20. Ensure compliance with labor regulations
