**Job Summary:**The Furniture Retail Showroom Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the showroom and assisting customers with their furniture needs. The ideal candidate will offer exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and help guide customers through their purchase journey. The associate will also maintain showroom appearance and inventory while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide product recommendations that align with their preferences and budget.

Sales: Actively promote and sell furniture and home decor items, meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product lines, materials, and design trends to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing by arranging furniture displays and restocking merchandise.

Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders, explaining delivery options, and processing transactions efficiently.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and tagging new stock.

Problem Solving: Handle customer concerns, returns, or exchanges in a timely and professional manner.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and management team to ensure customer satisfaction and showroom success.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field is a plus.

- 1-3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or home decor.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.

- Knowledge of furniture design, materials, and trends preferred.

- Basic computer skills (POS systems, Microsoft Office).

- Ability to lift or move furniture as needed.
