About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Sarvam Foundation is an NGO based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. We are currently seeking a Filmmaking intern for a short-term project lasting approximately 10-15 days. The primary tasks involve shooting and editing a documentary.
2. This project is part of our Shakti initiative, specifically the #humansofshakti campaign. The focus is on documenting the stories of five Shaktis who are serving as teacher interns at The Heritage School in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Our Shaktis are the young women who live in the urban slums of Delhi and Gurgaon. The documentary would revolve around their life stories, their day-to-day challenges and struggles, achievements, and lifetime experiences. Footage of school, teachers, principal, school students, Shaktis as teachers, etc. will be covered. The idea is to create a video that can enlighten our audience about the transformation that the Shaktis go through, at Sarvam, because of holistic skill and well-being training.
3. The documentary will have a runtime of at least 10 minutes and requires a high level of creativity in both shooting and editing. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in documentary filmmaking.
4. Candidates must have their own PC and editing software for post-production work. Additionally, they should possess the necessary equipment, including a quality camera and lens, for shooting. The final video deliverable is expected by the end of February. Immediate availability is required.
If you are interested and meet the requirements outlined above, we encourage you to apply promptly.
