Focus Area: Self-Help Groups (SHGs),MIS Management, and Field Work
Position Overview: The Federation Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of Self-Help Group (SHG) federations, ensuring efficient management of MIS systems, coordinating fieldwork activities, and supporting the overall growth and development of SHGs under the Chaitanya organization. The role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to strengthen SHG networks and drive sustainable community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- SHG Management and Capacity Building:
Oversee the formation, nurturing, and capacity building of SHGs and their federations.Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to strengthen SHG members’ financial literacy, governance, and leadership skills.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and processes within SHG operations- MIS (Management Information System) Work:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of SHG and federation activities using the MIS system.Generate reports on SHG performance metrics, loan disbursements, repayments, and other key indicators. Analyze MIS data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure timely submission of reports to stakeholders and managementConduct regular field visits to SHGs and federations to monitor activities, provide guidance, and resolve issues. Facilitate community meetings, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution within SHGs.Build strong relationships with local communities, government bodies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration. Monitor the financial health of SHGs and federations, ensuring proper utilization of funds and adherence to repayment schedules.Support SHGs in linking with banks and other financial institutions for credit and other financial services.
