We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee all aspects of our fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, engineering, and project management. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies to achieve production goals.
- Set production targets and KPIs to measure performance.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, and manage a team of skilled workers, including engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Production Management:
- Oversee the entire production process, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics and take corrective action to address any issues.
- Quality Control:
- Implement robust quality control procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
- Investigate and address safety incidents promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all production equipment.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels to optimize production and minimize costs.
- Implement effective inventory control systems.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, machinery, and tools.
- Proficiency in quality control and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as ERP and CAD/CAM systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
