DESCRIPTION:
- To manage the respective section in day-to-day
activities.
- To carry out all routine, preventive maintenance
scheduling.
- To organise manpower, materials for the day-to-day
activities.
- To assign work for technicians and to overlook the contract
jobs in the respective fields.
- To take care of welfare of the staff.
- To check in the logbook for the day's work and
allocate manpower for the same.
- To arrange the necessary materials and indent the
materials if items are not available.
- To maintain history cards.
- To allocate preventive maintenance work.
- To cross check the generators log book.
- Inspecting the floor distribution panels and
electrical rooms.
- To
coordinate with TNEB for the supply of power.
To prepare for preventive maintenance.
- To carry out breakdown maintenance.
- To maintain the air-handling units, fan coil units,
window and split a/c's, package units and central air conditioning plants.
- To carry out modification works in A/C.
To go for rounds to kitchen, laundry and C.S.S.D for
the functioning of equipment.
- To care and maintenance of hot water/steam boiler
system.
- To monitor quality of boiler operations for fuel
economy.
To inspect the quality and quantity of water.
- To arrange water for the hospital use.
- To fix up tankers for supplying water.
- To maintain the quality of water and regulate the same
at all times.
- To inspect drainage ducts and attend to the problem
and seek to drainage maintenance
- To organise waterline alteration works.
- To maintain fire hydrant.
- To
inspect pumps for it's functioning.
To coordinate with the housekeeping and guest
relations department in solving the problems
- To carry out work in under repair rooms.
To organise for minor modifications /renovations.
- To prepare schedule for painting.
- To organise for the civil and carpentry works in the
hospital.
To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow
both patient and staff safety rules.
