We are seeking a talented and motivated Drone R and D Engineer to join our research and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing innovative drone technologies, including UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) systems, hardware components, software algorithms, and sensor integration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of drone technology for commercial, industrial, and specialized applications.
Key Responsibilities:1.Conduct research and stay updated on the latest drone technologies, materials, and software developments.
2.Design and develop UAV systems and components, including airframes, propulsion systems, and electronic control systems.
3.Prototype, assemble, and test drone systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
4.Develop, optimize, and implement flight control algorithms and autonomous systems for drones.
5.Collaborate with software engineers to integrate sensor systems, communication protocols, and real-time data processing.
6.Perform simulations and analysis of drone dynamics, aerodynamics, and power consumption.
7.Work on advanced navigation, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms.
8.Document designs, test results, and technical findings; prepare technical reports and presentations.
9.Evaluate, troubleshoot, and refine existing drone systems for improved performance and efficiency.
10.Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards in drone design and operation.
11.Contribute to new patent applications and intellectual property generation.
Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in drone development, including hardware design and software integration.
3. Strong understanding of UAV systems, aerodynamics, avionics, and embedded systems.
4. Experience with CAD tools for 3D modeling and simulation software for flight dynamics analysis.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
6. Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and sensor integration.
7. Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., RF, Wi-Fi, LoRa) and data transmission techniques.
8. Familiarity with autopilot software (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot) and flight controllers.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team.
10. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and work in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with AI/ML algorithms for object detection, tracking, and autonomous decision-making.
2. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance related to UAV operation (e.g., FAA, DGCA).
3. Prior experience with multi-disciplinary projects involving robotics and automation.
