Job Description/Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
· To promote and sell lubricant products to various industrial and commercial clients.
· Expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets within assigned designated territory.
· Make regular customer visits, retailers, mechanics and manage customer accounts on an ongoing basis.
· Actively seek out new customers and business opportunities within the lubricants market.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new, existing and potential clients.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
· Generate and follow up on leads to convert them into sales.
Product Promotion and Marketing:
· Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
· Educate customers on the benefits and applications of different lubricant products.
· Explain promotion schemes to the customers.
Customer Service:
· Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
· Coordinate with other departments (such as logistics, accounts and technical support) to meet customer needs.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
· Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market conditions.
· Provide feedback to management on market requirements and product improvements.
· Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events.
Administrative Tasks:
· Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions using CRM software.
· Prepare quotations, contracts, and sales proposals as required.
· Manage budgets, forecasts, and expenses related to sales activities.
Recovery management
· Timely payment recovery of the sold goods, follow up with the customers on the timely payment.
· Credit control
Desired profile of the candidate
· Proven experience in sales, preferably in the lubricants or related industry.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Technical knowledge of lubricants and their applications is a plus.
