Responsibilities:
Construction management: Overseeing the construction site, including the work of subcontractors and laborers
Project planning: Analyzing survey reports, maps, and other documents to develop project plans
Material management: Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials, and ensuring they meet industry standards
Quality assurance: Ensuring that all work and materials used are in accordance with specifications
Safety: Overseeing safety protocols
Communication: Communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and surveyors, and keeping them informed of progress
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
Scheduling: Creating schedules for employees and building, and identifying milestones
Progress tracking: Tracking progress across multiple sites and locations
