Bachelorâs / Masterâs degree in Civil engineering and relevant experience in a design office of repute.
Should have exposure to designing office practices using computer-aided design and 3D modeling tools.
Managing, designing, developing, creating and maintaining construction projects.
Conducting on-site investigations and analyzing data.
Assessing potential risks, materials and costs.
Shall perform analysis and design of steel and concrete structures and foundations using software and manual methods.
Responsible for creating, improving, and protecting our immediate environment.
They plan and oversee construction and rebuilding, as well as the maintenance of roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, dams, harbours, power plants, and airports.
Responsible for designing, constructing, and supervising construction projects in the public and private sectors including buildings, dams, bridges, airports, roads, highways, sewage treatment plants, and so on under the supervision of senior civil engineers
Shall prepare calculation reports, material requisitions, service requisitions, technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects.
Knowledge of discipline engineering techniques and design calculation principles.
Knowledge of detail engineering and deliverables and understanding of the complete design work process including the tools.
Understanding of engineering procedures and design guides.
Performing feasibility studies, consulting with clients, designing structures, solving development problems, minimizing environmental impact, handling budgets, and ensuring safe working conditions
Basic understanding of the roles played by other engineering disciplines on projects.
Hands-on experience using software like STAAD.Pro / GTStrudl / ETABS.
Shall check the drawings prepared by the designers.
Knowledge of applicable standards and codes. Preference will be given to the candidates with knowledge of international codes (US / British / Euro / Canadian / Australian)
Good skills in oral and written communication.
Should be proficient in using MS office tools.
Preference will be given to the candidates who are proficient in using 3D structural modeling software such as S3D, Naviswork, Revit etc.
Experience in the design of Flat slabs, Cheese slabs and dynamic analysis of structures shall be an added advantage.
Shall participate in conceptual studies and proposals.
