Job Summary:We are seeking a creative and skilled Chef to join our culinary team, specializing in vegetarian and egg-based cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new recipes and crafting diverse menus that highlight world vegetarian cuisine in a platter-style presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Recipe Development: Create and innovate vegetarian and egg-based recipes using provided information and guidelines.
- Menu Planning: Design seasonal menus featuring a variety of world vegetarian cuisines, ensuring a balance of flavors, textures, and presentation.
- Culinary Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a timely manner while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Platter Presentation: Assemble and present dishes in an attractive, platter-style format, suitable for both individual and group servings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and maintain consistent food quality.
- Ingredient Sourcing: Research and source high-quality, seasonal ingredients to enhance menu offerings.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Qualifications:- Culinary Education: Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef, with a focus on vegetarian and egg-based cuisine.
- Creativity: Strong ability to develop unique recipes and menu items that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.
- Culinary Skills: Proficient in various cooking techniques, baking, and food presentation.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with global vegetarian cuisines and plating techniques.
- Experience in menu design and cost control.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition related to vegetarian diets.
