Job Description:

Needz Security Solutions PVT LTD, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of CCTV technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, recording equipment, and related hardware at various locations.
• Ensure proper placement and alignment of cameras for optimal coverage.
• Conduct system tests and calibrations to confirm functionality.
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure CCTV systems are operating smoothly.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CCTV equipment, including hardware and software problems.
• Replace faulty components and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide technical support to clients and address any concerns or issues they may have.
• Educate clients on the operation of their CCTV systems and best practices for usage.
• Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems and related hardware.
  • Strong understanding of video surveillance technologies, networking, and IP-based systems.
  • Experience with various CCTV software platforms and recording systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
  • High school, Diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCTV Technician Certification) preferred.
  • Previous experience as a CCTV Technician or in a related field is highly desirable.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
