Responsibilities:
Conduct career assessments to identify individuals' skills, interests, and values
Provide individual career counseling and coaching sessions to help individuals explore career options
Assist individuals in developing career goals and creating action plans
Offer guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, and interviewing techniques
Provide information on educational and training programs, scholarships, and financial aid
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and labor market information
Collaborate with employers and industry professionals to create internship and employment opportunities
Organize workshops and career fairs to enhance individuals' career development
Maintain confidential and accurate records of individuals' progress and career plans
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
Previous experience in career counseling or related field is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals
Knowledge of career development theories and counseling techniques
Familiarity with career assessment tools and resources
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in computer skills and career-related software
