We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic
Career Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding students towards their creative career paths, managing admissions, overseeing centre operations, and contributing to student engagement strategies. The counsellor will work closely with students, parents, and faculty to ensure a thriving learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:Student Counselling and Guidance:
- Provide career guidance for courses in animation, game design, and graphic design.
- Help students choose the best educational pathway based on their interests and goals.
- Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to motivate students and clarify career prospects.
Admissions Management:
- Handle admission inquiries and guide prospective students through the application and enrolment process.
- Conduct admission interviews and assess student potential for relevant programs.
- Organize and participate in student orientation and open house events.
Centre Operations and Management:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the institute to ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor student attendance and performance, and coordinate with faculty for academic support.
- Develop and execute student engagement strategies to maintain a vibrant learning environment.
Communication and Relationship Building:
- Maintain strong communication channels with students, parents, and faculty members.
- Address student queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build partnerships with industry professionals for guest lectures and workshops.
Creative Contributions and Event Planning:
- Generate creative ideas for student projects, competitions, and events.
- Organize industry visits, seminars, and other professional development activities.
Motivational and Leadership Role:
- Act as a self-motivated leader, inspiring students to excel in their creative pursuits.
- Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and management.
- Stay updated with industry trends to offer relevant advice to students.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in design, animation, or related fields).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to guide and inspire students in creative career pathways.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and creative thinker.
- Familiarity with animation, game design, and graphic design fields (preferred).
- Prior experience in counselling or education sector is a plus.
