Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Head to lead
and oversee the growth and development of Mega Treats in the luxury
confectionery market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of
luxury brands, have a passion for high-end products, and have a proven track
record in business development, strategic planning, and team leadership. This
role requires a dynamic leader who can drive the company's vision, manage
operations, and expand our market presence in the luxury sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic
Leadership: Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve
organizational goals, drive revenue growth, and increase market share in
the luxury confectionery segment.
- Market
Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and build a robust
pipeline by targeting potential clients in 5-star hotels, premium
airlines, and top-tier event management companies.
- Sales
and Marketing Oversight: Lead the sales and marketing teams to ensure
effective promotion, positioning, and distribution of Mega Treats
products. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful
promotional strategies tailored to the luxury market.
- Relationship
Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key
stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to
drive business development and brand visibility.
- Team
Development: Build and manage a high-performing sales and business
development team by setting clear goals, providing training, and fostering
a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Financial
Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting to
ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Monitor financial performance
against targets and take corrective action when necessary.
- Product
Innovation: Collaborate with the product development team to identify
market trends, gather customer feedback, and ensure the continuous
innovation of product offerings.
- Brand
Representation: Represent Mega Treats at industry events, trade shows,
and networking functions to enhance brand presence, generate leads, and
stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
- Reporting
and Analysis: Provide regular reports to the senior management team,
highlighting business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic
recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably
within the luxury FMCG, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Network: Strong network within the luxury hospitality, airline, and event
management industries.
- Skills: Excellent strategic planning, leadership, communication, negotiation, and
presentation skills.
- Business
Acumen: A deep understanding of the luxury market, consumer behaviour,
and market dynamics.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, manage large teams, and
execute business plans.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related
field is required; an MBA is preferred.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
