Job Summary: The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to drive company growth and market expansion. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and working closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and ensure the successful execution of business development plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to acquire new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
2. Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
3. Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare and present business proposals, contracts, and agreements to potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure profitable deals and partnerships.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support business development efforts.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align product offerings with market demand and client needs.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on business development activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role (freshers are welcome to apply).
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong communication skills.- Must have a 2-wheeler license and be willing to travel by bike.
- This is a field job, not an office job.
- No computer skills needed.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with extensive local travel for client meetings and fieldwork.
- Primarily field-based with minimal office work required.
Reporting Line:- Reports to the Director of Business Development or Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
