We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive our sales initiatives, primarily through lead generation, prospecting, and direct engagement with C-level executives in both Enterprise and SME sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong cold-calling experience, a proven track record of sales, and the ability to manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to customer onboarding. Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a proven track record of closing deals at the CXO level, preferably within IT, Retail, Banking sectors in India, Singapore & USA.
- Experience selling to both enterprise-level organizations and SMEs.
- Strong cold-calling experience and ability to build a pipeline from scratch.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and build relationships with senior executives (C-suite, VP, Director).
- In-depth understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing and post-sale client management.
- Strong understanding of AI/technology solutions, with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a simple, client-friendly manner.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Education:
MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Technology, or a related field.
Other:
Experience with enterprise SaaS or AI-based solutions or Staffing agencies is highly preferred.
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Develop and execute a targeted outreach strategy to identify and generate new business opportunities within both enterprise and SME sectors.
- Utilize various channels (cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking events, etc.) to identify and reach out to potential clients, with a focus on engaging C-level executives.
- Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on business needs and potential value.
- Cold Calling & Client Engagement:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling to introduce Headway ai's offerings.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, VP-level, Directors, etc.),understanding their business pain points and how Headway ai’s solutions can address them.
- Arrange and conduct initial meetings, demos, and presentations with potential clients.
Sales Presentations & Demos:
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations that highlight the value and potential ROI of Headway ai’s AI solutions.
- Tailor presentations to the specific needs and pain points of the target audience (CXOs in Enterprise and SME sectors).
- Showcase case studies, testimonials, and success stories that resonate with prospective clients.
Sales Negotiations & Closing:
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and service agreements with prospects.
- Close deals by effectively articulating the value proposition and overcoming objections.
- Work with legal and procurement teams to ensure smooth contract finalization and onboarding.
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management:
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation by collaborating with the customer success and support teams.
- Be the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase to ensure successful deployment of Headway ai’s solutions.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business, referrals, and upsell opportunities.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
