Job Description

Responsibilities of a Business Development Associate - Sales:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting

    • Identify and research potential clients through various channels (online platforms, networking, referrals, etc.).
    • Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Client Engagement

    • Initiate contact with potential clients via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
    • Present company products/services and highlight their value to prospective clients.
  • Sales Strategy Execution

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
    • Customize sales pitches based on client needs and industry trends.
  • Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Act as a point of contact for client queries and provide timely solutions.
  • Market Research and Analysis

    • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
    • Provide insights to improve product/service offerings.
  • Proposal and Documentation

    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and contracts.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with sales processes.
  • Target Achievement

    • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
    • Track progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration and Reporting

    • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to align sales efforts.
    • Maintain detailed records of interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
    • Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to management.
  • Customer Retention and Upselling

    • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services to existing clients.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Continuous Learning

    • Stay updated on industry developments, company products, and sales techniques.
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
