Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
o Analyse competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.
o Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market insights and potential opportunities.

2. Lead Generation:
o Identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online research.
o Qualify leads to assess their potential and align with company objectives.
o Maintain a comprehensive database of leads and prospects.

3. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
o Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase the company’s products or services.
o Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.

4. Sales and Negotiation:
o Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
o Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure deals.

5. Strategic Planning:
o Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategic business plans.
o Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships and alliances.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies.

6. Networking and Events:
o Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners.
o Represent the company at various networking events to enhance its market presence.
o Organise and participate in promotional events to increase brand awareness.

7. Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
o Provide feedback and insights to improve business development strategies and processes.
