Billing & Invoicing:

• Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all billing is in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.
• Verify pricing, discounts, and taxes are correctly applied in the billing process.
• Maintain up-to-date billing records in accounting software.

Accounts Receivable:

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile customer payments with the issued invoices.
• Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and manage collections.
• Resolve any billing discrepancies by working closely with clients and internal teams.

Financial Reporting:

• Generate weekly and monthly billing and collection reports for management review.
• Assist in preparing accounts receivable aging reports and updating management on outstanding balances.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate posting of revenue and receivables.

Record Management:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing and accounts receivable files.
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions in line with company policies and audit requirements.

Cross-Departmental Coordination:

• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing.
• Coordinate with the finance team on revenue recognition and reporting requirements.

Compliance & Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and tax rules.
• Assist during audits by providing necessary financial data and documents related to billing and receivables.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting roles.
  • Prior experience with invoicing and collections is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial documents.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues efficiently.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
