Automation Test Engineer

ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer proficient in Selenium and Cypress to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for quality assurance, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (or other testing frameworks for web applications)

● Have strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, debugging, and solid communication, with the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and report results

● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of software.
● Knowledge of Agile frameworks, and proven experience as an Automation Engineer using Selenium or similar web automation tools.

● Identify and report software defects accurately, providing clear and detailed information to the development team, and verifying bug fixes and regression test impacted areas.

● Have sharp analytical skills, proven design skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications and skills:

● Proficiency in Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications.

● Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

● Experience with version control systems such as Git.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
