Role Description

Role & responsibilities:

Project Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of transmission line project requirements and specifications.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical aspects and project scope.

Tender Preparation:

- Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and project timelines.

- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Contractor Evaluation:

- Evaluate bids from contractors, assessing technical and financial proposals.

- Conduct thorough background checks on potential contractors to ensure capability and reliability.

Negotiation:

- Engage in negotiations with contractors to finalize project terms, pricing, and contractual obligations.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and budget.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks associated with the tendering process and propose mitigation strategies.

- Work closely with project managers to address and resolve any issues that may arise during the tendering phase.

Communication:

- Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

- Provide regular updates on the tendering process to project stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Proven experience in tendering for transmission line projects.

- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and transmission line design.

- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
