Educational Qualification

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University.

Experience

Minimum of Three years post qualification experience in

Ship Building or
Ship Repair or
Marine related or
Port or
Engineering Companies or
Government Companies / Establishments or
Semi Government Companies /Establishments.

Desirable:

Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment.

Job Requirements

Planning and execution of hull and SOF fabrication and erection works. Capable for reading the Hull and SOF related drawings and executing the work accordingly. Arranging the materials for production as per the bill of materials. Good Knowledge in Hull materials trackability, Visual inspection of fitups, monitoring of in-process welding and post welding inspections.

Age:

The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 05 July 2024 i.e. applicants should be born on or after 06 July 1994.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates in post reserved for them.

Method of Selection

The method of selection shall be through Objective Type Test and Personal Interview.
