Daily Accounts in Tally:

• Sales & Purchases: Record all sales and purchase invoices in Tally daily, categorizing them under the correct ledgers (e.g., creditors, debtors, sales, purchases).
• Receipts & Payments: Enter daily cash and bank transactions, keeping track of all inflows and outflows.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with Tally entries regularly to ensure no discrepancies.
• Inventory Management: For businesses dealing with goods, maintain inventory records, and adjust stock entries as per purchases and sales.
• Journal Entries: Pass journal entries for non-cash transactions like depreciation, provisions, or adjustments.
• GST Ledgers: Ensure accurate maintenance of GST ledgers—input (purchases) and output (sales).

GST Returns Filing:

• GSTR-1: File GSTR-1 (monthly/quarterly) for all outward supplies (sales) with accurate invoice details.
• GSTR-3B: Prepare and file GSTR-3B, a monthly summary return that includes total sales, input tax credit, and taxes paid.
• Reconciliation: Periodically reconcile Tally data with GST portal data to avoid mismatches.
• Input Tax Credit: Ensure correct recording and claim of input tax credit based on supplier invoices.
• GST Payment: Make GST payments before the due date to avoid penalties.
• GST Audit/Annual Return: If applicable, prepare for GST audits and file GSTR-9 (annual return).
