Job Title: 5-Axis VMC Programmer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 5-Axis VMC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming for 5-axis vertical machining centers, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on complex parts with tight tolerances.


Key Responsibilities:


Create and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis VMC machines using software like Mastercam.
Interpret technical drawings and 3D models to set up the most efficient machining processes.
Set up, operate, and monitor 3, 4 & 5-axis VMC machines to ensure precise manufacturing.
Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure the final product meets all specifications.
Troubleshoot and make adjustments to programs and machinery as needed.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and safety in all machining operations.


Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC programming, with a focus on 5-axis VMC machining.
Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, , Fanuc).
Must have knowledge of tooling, working parameters and fixturing on actual job.
Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and 3D CAD files.
Experience with high-precision machining in industries like aerospace, automotive, or medical.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
