Public-Private Partnership

Public-Private partnership or 3P can be well understood as the co-operative arrangement between one or more public and private sectors. PPP is usually long term in nature. When it is perceived as a brand, it is closely associated with a wide range of risk allocations, funding arrangements and transparency requirements. In addition to this it is also related to privatization and contacting out of government services. Public-private partnerships between a government agency and private-sector company can be used to finance, build and operate projects, such as public transportation networks, parks and convention centers. Financing a project through a public-private partnership can allow a project to be completed sooner or make it a possibility in the first place.
