TRAINEE APPRENTICE WITH PRIVI ORGANICS SINCE NOVEMBER 2016

"I consider myself lucky, since I got this excellent opportunity after my graduation, whereas my friends are still struggling to get a job".

Hailing from small town Kankavli in Maharashtra, Sanket completed his 10th Standard from Kasarde High School in Kankavli. He then left for Mumbai to pursue his higher education, leaving behind his widowed mother and dependant grandmother who reside with his maternal uncle. Against all odds, he completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University. After graduating, he realized that in spite of his degree there were no jobs to come by and initially he was even considering the disappointing option of moving back to his native town.

In Mumbai – the city of his dreams

Sanket then enrolled with NETAP through Privi Organics as a Traninee Apprentice and despite having doubts initially he embarked on the next chapter of his life. What drew him to apprenticeship was the fact that on-the-job experience and formal training gives you working knowledge and skills to kick-start your career. This successful collaboration between Privi Organics and NETAP provided Sanket the opportunity to learn while making direct contributions to the organization.

Eight months later, here is what he has to say “What I love most about my role is interacting with so many different people from different functions in the organization. I learned and developed both my functional and soft skills after joining Privi Organics. Although there was a subject on `Exports’ in my degree course, the entire spectrum was completely new to me.Completing the training has not only helped me lay the foundation for starting my career but also provided a huge insight to business as a whole.I consider myself lucky, since I got this excellent opportunity after my graduation, whereas my friends are still struggling to get a job”.

We hope he continues to achieve greater success with his new found confidence and perseverance!
