Job Description:-
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Dependable and flexible when necessary.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Responsibilities:-
- Responsible for taking customer calls, ticket creation, progression and closure
- Troubleshoot customer network issues (LAN & WAN) and provide corrective actions to restore the customer services
- Manage ticket logging and escalations with carriers and suppliers
- Troubleshoot and resolve WAN link issues in coordination with carriers and suppliers
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of the customer network, devices and services
- Act as 1st point of contact for all internal and external issues and notifications in regard to Brennan Voice and Data services
- Responsible for cross-functional coordination to resolve internal and customer-related issues
- Maintaining internal and customer communication during the ticket resolution
- Escalating issues to the next level as per defined procedures
- Assist in the documentation for customer network and internal knowledge database
