Job Title: Business Development Executive
Job Objective:
As part of our Mass Offline Team, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding PhonePe's presence among offline merchants across urban and rural markets nationwide. As a Business Development Executive (BDE),your mission will be to accelerate our offline footprint by acquiring new merchants, driving sales of our products, and delivering exceptional service within your assigned geographical area.
Responsibilities:
- Merchant Acquisition: Identify and onboard high-quality merchants based on an understanding of transaction volume and patterns in your assigned territory, ensuring long-term retention.
- Sales & Collection: Effectively sell our devices to assigned merchants, educating them on payment terms and device usage. Responsible for rental collection and reactivating inactive merchants.
- Infrastructure Management: Safeguard collateral and devices to prevent loss or leakage.
- Market Share Leadership: Take ownership of saturating the market by driving PhonePe business within your sector.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with identified merchants, offering them value-added products and services to enhance their experience.
- Competition Mapping: Monitor and report on competitor activity in your assigned territory, enabling swift responses to market dynamics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12th pass
- At least 6 months of B2C sales experience with a proven track record of success, or freshers with a passion for sales (preferred)
